My dalmatian Flash, is 10-11 and has a very bad yeast overgrowth in his ears. Unfortunately I lost one job and have had hours cut at my other so my finances are very limited at the time. I’m looking for something natural that I can use in either his ears and/or orally to help reduce the overgrowth. Aside from his ears, he is completely healthy and I want to keep him that way. I’ve used tresaderm in the past and will be considering using it again once I can get a hold of it, but in the meantime does anyone have any suggestions?
Also, I just got him on a better diet (he lives with my dad) to also help get things going. Thanks

I know a pup that got frequent yeast overgrowth in his ears because of a food allergy. You might want to look at what you’re feeding him - consider a no grain dog food.
I’ve also heard that feeding your dog plain (definitely no flavors) yogurt can be helpful and clear some overgrowth in about 2 weeks. Maybe start with half a cup and see if Flash would eat some.
Hope he’s feeling better soon.
My Beagle had the same thing wait a couple hours, and I will find the name of the medication for you. My dog gets this all the time, since her ears are so big.
I love his name by the way.
