That was my post, regarding psoriasis/fruit diet/benefits with candida problem. Think about it - fruits are the most powerful and aggressive cleansers available, why would we ELIMINATE them from the diet? Because candida thrive on sugars? Yes, but only refined sugars. They cannot exist in a clean and pure environment and fruits are the best way to accomplish this. Before the all fruit diet I started with one week on nothing but fresh juice - beet, carrot, apple, the sweetest stuff there is! After some die off symptoms, I just got better and better and after about 3 weeks the candida was gone.
I’m not telling anybody what to do, or that they should go against their doctors and start adding fruit to their diets. Just consider the fact that I did all the anti-candida diets, the nystatin, the caprillic acid, the garlic, the pau’d'arco - you name it and I did it. The problem still persisted until I eliminated EVERY FOOD EXCEPT fruit. I went on an all fruit diet and I have had no symptoms since. It has an excellent effect on the psoriasis as well, large bright red patches are becoming smaller, light pink, no itching…….
Bring this up to your doctor and he/she will call you crazy, it’ll only make it worse, etc. This has been my experience, maybe more people should consider it?

My vote is, yes, I think the fruit diet would cure candida. It would exert a powerful cleansing force that the candida could not survive, even if they were drowning in their food of sugar. My thought is, that by detoxifying the body and especially cleansing out the colon, you are left with an environment inhospitable to yeast.

That makes sense, I eat a banana with my cereal every morning and have had no ill effects on my stomach, but who knows, I may be affected in other ways. One thing I’ve noticed since starting the candida diet, is that I no longer experience that embarrassing feminine itching, and yeast infections. I’m just going to make something for lunch (refers to her Crook’s book) and hopefully it won’t require much effort cause I’m so tired. I’m used to getting about 7-7 hours sleep in a night…but I’m still tired. My mother suggested that maybe I was getting too much sleep - what do you guys think?
I would sure love to kick this tired feeling!!
