I’ve had this rash since the 2nd week of June, I think it started out as a scaly spot on the inside of my thigh. Now it covers my pubic area, bikini area, inside thighs(more so going down the right thigh pretty far) and some spots on my butt, mostly the lower part. I’m currently still going to a dermatologist, and he’s looked under a microscope and says it is some fungal and some yeast organisms. I’ve taken 3 different pills, and many more creams to get rid of it. Could there be some other problem I don’t know about that could cause it to stay no matter what I treat it with? I even changed my diet at one point to eliminate breads and sugars, it didn’t help. Could it be diabetes? I read online somewhere that type 1 diabetes can cause fungal infections of the skin. Or is my immune system just that bad? I’m 18, soon to be 19, and female by the way.

Wow! This sounds pretty miserable and frustrating for you.
Have you considered that you could be reacting to something you are coming into contact with and it has spread? I had a similar experience a few years ago with Always feminine pads. I got a nasty painful rash in "that" area that spread pretty quickly. I ended with a Nystatin and something combo. cream. It worked well, but still took a while to go away. Needless to say, I no longer use the Always brand. I also want to add that I had used that brand for years with no problems and then one day it just happened. So, think about what you are using for detergent, toilet paper, feminine protection, soap, etc. and consider changing brands.
Also, look into getting some acidopholis or biphidopholis. Both are "good" bacteria and help to keep things "down there" in balance. They also help prevent or cure yeast infections.
You can get some from Trader Joe’s, Vitamin Shoppe, GNC, or order from http://www.naturessunshine.com.
