On this website it said you can get it from condoms, so I asked my partner. & he replied to me this:
Sweetie , those are natural , women get them regardless of sex or not . You need to clean yourself down there a little more properly and watch your diet. You can be assured that i have no diseases . I was tested last week for every diseases known to man and everything was negative . So go get you some monistat yeast medication at walmart and stop thinking i’m guilty for your problems . K ? Ask your mom , she’ll tell you yeast infections are not sexually transmitted.

Can you get it sexually? Is it possible I got it from him, even though he is clean.
How can you get yeast infection by oral sex? I am not talking about the mouth, I am talking about my crotch.

If you can get it from condoms, it obviously wouldn’t be from *him*. But they can be transmitted sexually. For that to happen, he would have to have sex with someone with a yeast infection (so that he now has one) and then have sex with you. They probably wouldn’t test him for that, and if you guys have had sex since you got this yeast infection he could have it and needs to be tested.

That said, it is much more likely that you got it from somewhere else. Have you taken antibiotics recently? Those are usually the cause. It can be from sitting in a wet swimsuit or other wet clothes. Your vagina does have natural yeast bacteria, and sometimes things will cause an overgrowth of this yeast. If you can’t find another reason to have it, I would suspect the bf, but it could be many things.

Oral sex is a good way to get a yeast infection.

Yes, it’s possible to get it from intercourse, if it’s unprotected. You can pass it back and forth between you and your boyfriend. Usually, men don’t show symptoms.

Yes, condoms can give you yeast infections if you are sensitive to them. For example, LifeStyles condoms give me yeast infections. No joke. We switched to Trojan Her Pleasure and I’ve been fine since then.

As for cleaning your area correctly, do not use any kind of soap. That may sound gross but if you are sensitive then the soaps can mess you all up. For example, I cannot take bubble baths without having vaginal irritation afterwards.

Other things can cause yeast infections such as, antibiotics and birth control. Ask your doctor for Diflucan. It is a pill that kicks yeast infections in the butt and is not messy like monistat.

    Best wishes!

Yeast is a fungus referred to as Candida. Yeast is commonly present on normal human skin and in areas of moisture, such as the mouth and vagina.

Vaginal yeast infections occur when new yeast is introduced into the vaginal area, or when there is an increase in the quantity of yeast already present in the vagina relative to the quantity of normal bacteria.

If you have diabetes mellitus or are pregnant or taking oral contraceptives (birth control pills) or antibiotics you may get an infection. The use of douches or perfumed vaginal hygiene sprays may also increase a woman’s risk of developing a vaginal yeast infection. Improper ventilation - say wearing nylons too long, tight pants, etc, can contribute to getting an infection.

    Signs of yeast infections:
    White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
    Intense itching

If you have it and give it to him, he can pass it back to you right away, but guys usually never get yeast infections.
