Testicle pain + yeast infection?

By admin | Nov 17, 2009

My testicles hurt whenever I have to pee (not while I’m peeing). The doctor said that they think that it is a yeast iwas given some anti fungal and it worked great. But it didn’t completely remove the yeast infection. I went to a doctor of naturopathic medicine and the doctor gave me something to help with my immune system which was out of wack because of my diet.
The yeast infection is almost dealt with (it went from making me itchy and having a dried, smelly discharge to feeling normal).

So I’m wondering if having a yeast infection has anything to do with testicle pain. Should I go to my doctor?

It can’t be a std because I’ve never had sex before.
I’m going to the doctor tomorrow.

Penile yeast infection is a less common form of Candidiasis (inflammation caused by Candida) than vaginal yeast infection, which is common in women. On an estimate, 80% of women suffer from some form of vaginal yeast infection at least once during a lifetime. Penile yeast infection can affect sexual performance since the penis is more sensitive to pain when infected.
